Both lighten the natural shade of the teeth. They differ in speed and in how the gel is applied.

In the studio

A professional gel applied by the doctor, in about 90 minutes. A good choice when you want a visible change quickly.

At home

Custom trays made from an intraoral scan and Opalescence gel, worn at home following a protocol set in the studio. Slower and very controlled.

Whitening does not change the colour of fillings, crowns or veneers. If you plan veneers, whitening first sets the base shade.
